Trinity International Hip Hop Festival
We have established a great relationship with the organizers of the annual Trinity International Hip Hop Festival at Trinity College. The festival has hosted our students for three years, allowing our students to stay on campus and participate in the free festival the entire weekend. They have had such a great time, and have gotten the chance to meet so many artists and scholars from around the world. They have participated in workshops, attended film showings, and took part in graffiti projects. Student participation was possible with the financial support from both the Department of African Studies and Trinity College. Students contributed the remaining needed funding.
